 Our Goal-Great Outcomes

  • An excellent fit between breeder and our owners is really important to us. From the first time you meet with us, through to taking your puppy home and throughout your dog’s life, we want to be a source of support and information to you. A good fit helps facilitate this.

  • We work very hard to create exceptional puppy matches with owners. We follow Avidog’s Puppy Evaluation Test and conduct a structural evaluation. The subsequent evaluation data analysis is how we make our final decisions.

  • When we have puppies, our focus is on raising puppies, not screening prospective owners. To accomplish this we open our screening process for limited periods and maintain a wait list that spans 12-24 months.

  • Clear and transparent communication is always our goal, but particularly through the screening and puppy matching process. We update participants on our plans, goals and progress throughout the process.

What Applicants Can Expect

  • A thorough, multi-step screening process that provides both parties with ample opportunity to assess whether there is a good fit between breeder and prospective owner.

  • If both parties agree to move forward after the screening meetings, the applicant will be added to our wait list. A non-refundable wait list fee is required at this step.

  • Our families receive our support and guidance as they prepare for their puppy to join them. This includes responding to direct questions, sending specific information relative to specific stages in their puppy journey—both before and after welcoming their puppy home—as well as other points of communication.

  • A well-matched puppy based on an in-depth exchange of information between us as well as analysis of data gathered during our puppy evaluation exercises. Puppies are matched based on best fit, not the order people joined our wait list.
